This position gives you the opportunity to utilize your unique skillset to support a variety of human resource functions within State Correction Institution (SCI) Forest and SCI Pine Grove. As a Human Resources Assistant 2, you will be functioning as the onsite time advisor for SCI Pine Grove. Responsibilities include reviewing, maintaining, inputting, and adjusting SAP data relating to employee attendance, leave, work schedules, and payroll. Work involves entering data, reviewing documentation, and coordinating processes with supervisors and analysts for employee medical and worker’s compensation accommodations. You will also have the opportunity to assist with talent acquisition for both institutions. Additional responsibilities include coordinating modified duty assignments; notifying appropriate staff and employees on return to work status; as well as acting as Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) liaison.
