Tramec LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to support HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will handle onboarding, employee records, payroll-related tasks, and routine HR administration with a proactive, communicative approach.

Ideal candidates have 2 years HR experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with Paylocity. This on-site role offers a full benefits package and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• PHR, SHRM-CP or similar HR certification desirable.
• 2 years HR experience required; manufacturing HR a plus.

Responsibilities

• On-Boarding: assist with new hire documents and orientation.
• Prepare and process employee paperwork.
• Manage employee attendance program.
• Maintain employee records; confidential files.
• HRIS reporting – Paylocity.
• Support employee inquiries and policy interpretation.
• Assist in engagement activities and recognition programs.
• Provide admin support for HR projects and initiatives.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to join our existing team. This non-exempt role supports HR operations, timekeeping, employee relations, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for fostering a supportive workplace culture are essential for success in this role.

Office Hours: Flexible schedule options - Typically Monday - Friday from 8:00 - 5:00 on-site

Pay: Hourly - Based on Experience

Duties

• On-Boarding: Assist with preparing new hire documents and coordinating orientation.
• Prepare and process employee paperwork
• Manage employee attendance program
• Employee records management: Maintain accurate and confidential electronic and physical files
• HRIS reporting - Paylocity
• Support employee inquires and policy interpretation.
• Assist in employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
• Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives and other management directed work-related tasks.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or GED required. PHR, SHRM-CP or similar HR certification is desirable.

Experience: 2 years HR experience required. Experience in Manufacturing HR is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels in the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
• Experience in Paylocity or similar HRIS system a must.
• Basic understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Bilingual is a plus
