Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. in Naples, FL seeks a student co-op to support the Human Factors Engineering team. You will assist with usability documentation, risk analyses and usability testing for medical device development projects and regulatory submissions.

The position runs January 2027 through June 2027, requiring 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility, with responsibilities across human factors reports, analyses, and usability testing while learning medical device design processes.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors or related field.
• Junior or above preferred; recent graduates within six months qualify.

Responsibilities

• Generate or assist in generating human factors reports and documentation for regulatory submissions (MDR remediation).
• Assist in human factors analyses such as complaints analyses, task analyses and risk analyses.
• Assist or participate in planning, execution and review of usability testing of devices or concepts.
