Arthrex, Inc. in Naples, FL is seeking a junior or senior pursuing an engineering degree to support the Design Quality Engineering (DQE) team in Naples, FL. The DQE team provides expertise in risk management, product quality, process control, verification & validation (V&V), and continuous improvement.

The co-op will run January 2027 – June 2027 and requires 40 hours per week at our Naples facility. The ideal candidate will assist with Risk Management activities, data analysis, and DHF

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time senior pursuing a degree in engineering required. Biomedical, Mechanical or Bioengineering preferred. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)
• Ability to effectively communicate, oral and written, and possess the ability to work through technical issues.
• Proficiency in Excel strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with updates initiated from remediation efforts across Risk Management files, specifically dFMEAs and pFMEAs.
• Aid in performing updates with information relevant to device safety.
• Analyze internal and external data, identifying any gaps in documentation.
• Support Design History Files (DHF) remediation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Arthrex is actively searching for a junior or senior pursuing an engineering degree to support the Design Quality Engineering (DQE) team in Naples, FL. The DQE team provides expertise in risk management, product quality, process control, verification & validation (V&V), and continuous improvement. DQEs incorporate quality methods and tools, including applied statistics and external standards, design experiments, develop test protocols, conduct investigations, and improve products and processes. The individual chosen for this position will assist in these activities as a part of Risk Management, Sustaining Activities, and Non-conformance Investigations. Main Objective:

To support Design Quality Engineers with Risk Management projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
