Position Overview
The Human Capital team is seeking a Human Capital Associate to join a newly created position supporting both internal and portfolio-facing talent initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Human Capital professional to gain broad exposure toprivate equity, executive talent, organizational effectiveness, and strategic HR. The successful candidate will work closely with senior Human Capital leadership and have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives across the firm and its portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive key components of the performance management cycle, including annual reviews, goal setting, and related initiatives.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including leading the annual employee survey and coordinating follow-up actions and recommendations.
- Serve as a thought partner to the Chief Human Resources Officer and broader Human Capital team on strategic initiatives and special projects.
- Own coordination of the firm's HR Council, including agenda development, stakeholder communications, and ongoing engagement with portfolio HR leaders.
- Support the planning and execution of key Human Capital events, including leadership development programs and summits.
- Lead research and talent mapping efforts for executive searches and deal-related talent initiatives.
- Track executive movement, maintain leadership pipelines, and monitor relevant industry and transaction activity.
- Manage and maintain Human Capital data across the firm and portfolio companies, including executive compensation, board and C-suite composition, and external vendor information.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and research to support talent strategy, including assessments of executive hiring outcomes, organizational practices, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to ongoing knowledge management and reporting initiatives across the Human Capital function.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experiencein Talent, Executive Search, Human Capital Consulting, or a related field within a fast-paced professional services or corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, talent mapping, executive search processes, and employment-related considerations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior-level stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- General understanding of the financial services or private equity industry preferred.
