Job summary

Referment is partnering with a global investment and technology firm to hire an Analytics Developer for its human-capital function. The role blends software development, reporting and analysis, building Python-based reporting, dashboards for senior leaders and supporting data pipelines.

You’ll lead analytics tooling development, maintain Python packages, and collaborate with HR and related teams to deliver accurate insights and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical, quantitative or related discipline.
• 1–3 years’ experience using Python to build and maintain code, plus SQL and GraphQL for data querying/transformation.
• Practical experience with Git and GitHub, including collaborative review workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems, manage operational tasks and deliver accurate analysis in a fast-moving environment.
• Clear communication, close attention to detail and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Judgement to handle confidential employee information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated reporting and analytics solutions, primarily in Python.
• Build dashboards and other reporting products from the ground up for senior business leaders.
• Contribute to ETL pipelines and initiatives that improve the team’s reporting infrastructure.
• Maintain Python packages, keeping code reliable, clear and well documented.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, improve processes and support the continuing development of analytics tooling.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control, collaborative development and code review.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis in partnership with human-capital and related teams.
