Job summary

Hudson by Avolta at Pittsburgh International Airport is hiring a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting store operations. You will greet customers, assist with product selection, operate the register, and uphold all policies and loss prevention standards.

The role requires flexibility to work full-time, including weekends and holidays, with the opportunity to grow through training and career development programs.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet customers.
• Greet customers and communicate with staff and management.
• Assist with product selection using store layout knowledge and answer questions.
• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Follow policies, cash handling, and loss prevention procedures.
• Communicate pricing, inventory issues to management.
• Protect assets, stock merchandise in-store and backrooms.
• Sort damaged/ outdated products and inform management of stockouts.
• Maintain a neat, clean, organized store; sweep, dust, tidy, trash removal.
• Place stock orders, receive freight, load/unload trucks.
• Replenish stock on the sales floor and assist inventory reconciliation.

Helping others, understanding a customer’s needs, and in turn provide an amazing customer service experience and assisting your team with general stock duties such as picking orders and pricing product

Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees and store management

Know basic store layout to assist customers in their selection of product and be able to answer customer questions about the entire store

Effectively operate a cash register

Follow all company policies, cash handling policies, and special store loss prevention procedures

Communicate pricing, out of date and inventory issues with management

Protect all company assets, stock merchandise in stores and backrooms

Isolate, sort, and organize all damaged and outdated products and returns and inform management of any out-of-stock situations

Help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, straightening of merchandise, and trash removal

Places stock orders, receive freight, load, and unload trucks

Provides ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor

Assists in inventory and reconciliation of inventory variances

Perform related work as assigned

Required Qualifications
