MDHA seeks an HCV Special Programs Specialist to administer the HUD-VASH program within the Housing Choice Voucher program in Nashville.

Work with VA case managers to determine eligibility, process referrals, issue and administer vouchers, and support Veterans through lease-up and tenancy.

Maintain records in Yardi, complete annual recertifications, monitor voucher utilization, and ensure compliance with HUD regulations and MDHA’s Administrative Plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration or a related field.
• Three years of experience in affordable housing, property management or related field.
• HUD-VASH/HCV program familiarity and related regulations.
• Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Administer HUD-VASH within the MDHA Housing Choice Voucher program.
• Determine eligibility and process referrals with VA staff.
• Monitor voucher utilization, lease-up timelines and annual/interim activities.
• Maintain participant records and prepare for audits.
