Masonicare at Wesley Heights in Shelton, CT is seeking an Occupancy Specialist (Day Shift) to manage the HUD-based occupancy cycle, including screening, eligibility, leases, certifications, and MOR support. This role ensures audit-ready files, accurate reporting, and timely TRACS submissions.

The position emphasizes strong organizational skills, accuracy in documentation, and collaboration with HUD stakeholders to maintain program compliance.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years in affordable housing, HUD property housing, or related field preferred.
• COS certification and HUD EIV training within 90 days of hire.
• Strong organizational, record-keeping, and communication skills; good judgment and initiative.

Responsabilidades

• Manage applicant intake, interviews, and HUD orientation.
• Conduct housing tours and explain eligibility and HUD guidelines.
• Verify completeness and HUD documents before processing.
• Screen tenants: background, credit, and references per HUD requirements.
• Maintain waiting lists per HUD plan; update and purge as needed.
• Process moves, certifications, and annual/interim recertifications per HUD rules.
• Enter occupancy data in RealPage OneSite and HUD systems accurately.
• Prepare MOR and regulatory documentation and respond to HUD requests.
