Job summary

The Corpus Christi Housing Authority is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Specialist to conduct comprehensive QC reviews of Housing Choice Voucher files and transactions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and HUD compliance. You will review eligibility, income, and rent calculations, document findings, and work with staff to strengthen program integrity.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of HUD requirements and HCV program basics.
• Ability to interpret regulations and apply policies.
• Strong attention to accuracy in reviews and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QC reviews of HCV participant files and program transactions.
• Verify eligibility, income, deductions, rent calculations, and payments.
• Identify errors, document findings, and communicate corrections.
• Track corrections and perform follow-up reviews as needed.
• Prepare periodic QC reports and support management decisions.
• Maintain organized QC records and protect confidentiality.
