Community Action Partnership of Hennepin County in Bloomington, MN is seeking a HUD & FAIM Counselor to provide housing counseling, financial coaching, and case management. The role administers the FAIM matched savings program and delivers HUD-approved counseling.

Qualifications

• HUD Housing Counseling Certification or equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or experience.
• At least 3 years in housing counseling, lending, or related area.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct participant assessments, eligibility screenings, intake and enrollment.
• Provide housing counseling, financial coaching, and action planning.
• Assist with budgeting, credit improvement, savings goals, and homeownership prep.
• Plan and facilitate workshops on financial wellness and housing topics.
• Maintain client records and ensure HUD/FAIM compliance.
• Develop partnerships with lenders, landlords, and community organizations.
