Job summary

The cashier at Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort & Hotel in Worley, ID will process payments, greet guests, and ensure accurate cash handling. This is a tipped, part-time role at the Huckleberry Deli, with emphasis on friendly service and precise transactions.

Applicants should have cash handling experience and customer service skills, be 19+ years old, and able to obtain the tribal gaming license. Prior cashiering experience is preferred to support busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Ancillary (Class B) Coeur d’Alene Tribal Gaming License required.
• Previous cashiering and customer service experience required, six months preferred.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist as needed.
• Receive funds from customers and employees and record transactions.
• Verify cash register balances against cash on hand.
• Prepare paperwork in accordance with cashier policy.
• Assist guests with information or directions and maintain a tidy work area.
• Bus and clean tables as needed; support other tasks as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

SUMMARY:

The cashier will ensure a positive conclusion of each guests’ experience at the Huckleberry Deli of the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel. This position will process payments and inquire about guests’ dining experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers in a friendly manner.


• Obtain a bank from the money room at the start of each shift.


• Receive funds from customers and employees, disburse funds, and record monetary transactions.


• Prepare paperwork in accordance with departmental cashier policy.


• Compare totals on cash register with amount of currency in register to verify balances.


• Assist customers by providing requested information or directions.


• Keep cashier stand clean and organized.


• Bus, & clean tables as needed.


• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education/Experience:


• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Ability to obtain an Ancillary (Class B) Coeur d’Alene Tribal Gaming License required.


• Previous cashiering and customer service experience required, six months preferred.


• Must be 19 years of age or older.
