Job summary

UPS is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee Package Handlers, train and develop workgroups, and uphold high standards for safety, productivity, accuracy, and customer service. This role drives continuous improvement and fosters cross-functional collaboration across the department and organization.

The position emphasizes leadership, coaching, and ensuring compliance with safety policies, while maintaining efficient operations and strong communication with all levels of personnel.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
• Management experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees adhere to safety policies and procedures, in compliance with department, station, corporate and OSHA requirements.
• Manage department resources for maximum output, accuracy and efficiency.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment with inter-departmental cooperation.
• Implement employee development plans for growth of personnel.
• Ensure orientation, training, materials, and regular evaluations for staff.
