UPS in Uniondale, NY is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee Package Handlers, provide training, and drive safety, productivity and accuracy in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred: Management experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Package Handlers and train, develop, and hold workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed, in compliance with department, station, corporate and OSHA requirements.
• Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy and efficiency.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and continuous improvement.
