Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ warehouse experience or similar discipline.
• Ability to speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Ability to learn the delivery area to coordinate drivers’ deliveries.
• Knowledge of distribution and transportation industry.
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Strong customer orientation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Reliable transportation to get to work.
• Company vehicles are provided for deliveries.

Responsabilités

• Select trucks for each route based on volume and equipment availability.
• Maintain daily dispatch log with start times, driver, route number, and equipment for each truck.
• Maintain customer location database, time windows, and other information.
• Investigate customer complaints regarding lost/damaged merchandise or shortages.
• Ride with drivers to evaluate coverage and service standards.
• Perform routine filing and maintenance of records.
• Direct and coordinate activities of driving staff and third-party drivers; route orders per guidelines.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of merchandise.
• Assemble and fill customer orders for 30–45 minute delivery windows.
• Perform inventory and cycle counts.
• Handle store opening/closing duties and cash handling.
• Stock and pull parts; answer phones; keep areas clean and safe.
• Inform management of warehouse and delivery issues.
