Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisory role to oversee Package Handlers, driving safety, productivity, accuracy, and customer service across the department. The position emphasizes leadership, organization, and collaboration with all levels of staff.

The role requires implementing development plans and ensuring comprehensive training and evaluation of personnel to sustain high performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs/32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, in compliance with department, station, corporate and OSHA requirements.
• Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and cooperation.
• Implement employee development plans for ongoing growth of department personnel.
• Provide orientation, skills and safety training, materials, information, evaluations, and coaching for employees.
