Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a supervisor to oversee daily hub operations and city delivery teams in Milford, CT. You will coordinate with dispatchers, manage invoicing to spoke stores, and resolve shipping and inventory discrepancies promptly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hub operations and supervise city delivery dispatchers, hub delivery specialists and related staff
• Coordinate with city delivery dispatchers to ensure proper invoicing to spoke stores
• Investigate shipping and inventory discrepancies and correct them promptly
• Assist with monthly cycle counts and inventory control duties
• Ensure accurate check-in and stocking procedures by hub staff
• Maintain shrinkage controls and minimize losses and paperwork shortages
• Oversee hub delivery routes for efficiency and cost control
• Ensure safe driving practices and adherence to delivery policies
• Maintain organized hub areas and schedule staff to meet payroll budgets
• Manage clock-in/out and respond to route delays with stores on the route
• Support store manager in coverage when supervisors are absent
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and quarterly inspections
• Provide performance input for evaluations
• Assist in hiring, interviewing and candidate evaluation
• Ensure driver training is timely and pre-employment drug tests are passed
• Confirm MVR on file with Risk Management for drivers
