Job summary

Chobani Idaho is seeking an HTST Operator to lead pasteurization during their shift, ensuring equipment functions properly, documenting charts, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. You will support QA, maintenance, and ISDA audits while upholding GMP standards and accurate records.

Responsibilities include CIP validation, monitoring temperatures and flow, sealing integrity, and proper tote handling. Collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures smooth production and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Understand the HTST system and overall process.
• Follow GMP practices and CIP systems knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with maintenance and QA during audits.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.
• Able to walk on wet floors and lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace and report safety issues to lead or supervisor.
• Document charts legibly as required by regulations.
• Check seals; report broken/missing seals to supervisor or QA.
• Run CIP, monitor temp/flow/titration/time, swab if needed.
• Validate cut-in / cut-out prior to production with clear charts.
• Understand product flow from raw milk silo to maturation tank and cream silos.
• Understand RO systems and whey flow for troubleshooting.
• Operate/initialize/ downtime the Whey RO system and CIP as needed.
• Understand separator function and purpose in the process.
• Collect samples for QA for Butterfat on skim and cream.
• Coordinate with KDB, starter room, and fruit room for totes.
• Enter accurate information on cream tote placards and support maintenance.
