Job summary

Lactalis American Group is seeking a Pasteurization Operator to support the milk processing line. You will monitor HTST pasteurization, control fat and protein targets, and ensure ongoing quality and safety throughout the RSPC system.

This role emphasizes precise records, teamwork with QA, and adherence to safety policies. The position requires a valid pasteurization operator license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), plus at least 1 year of related dairy plant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1+ year RSPC experience in a dairy or similar plant preferred.
• Pasteurization operator license required or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Standardize milk in compliance with fat and protein targets.
• Maintain product quality and food safety throughout production.
• Monitor CCPs (HTST pasteurization) and oPrP controls; alert Food Safety Team as needed.
• Keep accurate records of production data, inventory, and sanitation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the RSPC system to minimize downtime.
