Job summary

The Foundation Operations Intern position at HavenCORE Property Management supports the Hope Through Housing Foundation with administrative and project tasks, reporting to the Chief of Staff. It offers exposure to nonprofit operations, communications, event planning, and executive administration while collaborating with Foundation leadership.

You will assist with scheduling, drafting newsletters, event coordination, and special projects, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic nonprofit

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduling and calendar coordination support.
  • Maintain electronic files and assist with data entry.
  • Draft Foundation newsletters and internal communications.
  • Support planning and execution of Foundation events and volunteer activities.
  • Assist with events registration, setup, and follow-up.
  • Support special projects with the Chief of Staff.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks.

  • Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00 Hourly
Position Summary

The Foundation Operations Intern provides administrative and project support to the Hope Through Housing Foundation. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this position assists with daily administrative tasks, communications, event coordination, and special projects that support the Foundation's mission of empowering children, youth, families, and seniors. This internship provides valuable hands‑on experience in nonprofit operations, communications, event planning, and executive administration while working closely with Foundation leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating calendars.
  • Maintain electronic files and organize shared documents.
  • Assist with data entry and general administrative tasks.
  • Assist with drafting Foundation newsletters and internal communications.
  • Gather stories, photos, and program updates from staff.

Events

  • Support planning and coordination of Foundation events, meetings, and volunteer activities.
  • Assist with event preparation, registration, setup, clean up, and follow‑up.
  • Help organize event supplies and materials.
  • Be available to work occasionally at night events.

Special Projects

  • Assist the Chief of Staff and Executive Leadership Team with special projects.
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed.
