Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Specialty Systems Engineering Manager 2 overseeing Human Systems Analysis and Compliance on the Sentinel HSI team in Huntsville, AL. The role requires leading a cross-disciplinary group and delivering HSIP/HESAR content with strong focus on requirements traceability and program cost controls.

Minimum qualifications include a STEM degree with 8+ years’ related experience, active Secret clearance, and CAM/WPL experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8 years related experience, or a master's degree with 6 years related experience.
• US Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance; ability to obtain SAP approval.
• 1+ year experience as CAM/WPL or equivalent; program/project management experience.
• 1+ year experience in Human Systems Integration in a defense contracting environment.
• 1+ year experience in Systems Engineering focused on requirements compliance in a defense contracting environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Systems Engineers & Human Factors Engineers supporting a complex weapon system program.
• Plan HSA and Compliance scope, staffing, and budgets with program management and systems engineering.
• Manage execution of the team to cost and schedule; track and report EV on work packages within HSA and Compliance.
• Promote integration across HSA, HFE, UX, systems engineering, and program teams.
• Own the development, maintenance, and delivery of HSIP CDRL (HSA).
• Own the development, integration, and delivery of the HESAR CDRL.
• Maintain HSI/HSA compliance artifacts including requirements traceability, matrices, and verification evidence.
• Collaborate with Human Factors Engineering and UX leads to reflect HSA findings in designs.
• Provide risk-based recommendations balancing human performance, safety, and cost.
