Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer for the Human Systems Integration team to oversee compliance on the Sentinel program.

Responsibilities include use case development, requirements allocation, and interface definitions from a human engineering perspective. The role involves collaboration across IPTs, development of system artifacts, verification/validation planning, and requirements traceability, with a strong focus on Mil-Std-1472 compliance

Qualifications

• 3 years of Systems Engineering experience.
• 2 years of experience developing or reviewing requirements in DOORS or similar tool.
• Experience with Mil-Std-1472 and compliance requirements.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with active Secret Clearance and timely investigation date.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Engineering Scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of system performance documentation and interface definitions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to system requirements development and analysis for human engineering compliance documents (Mil-Std-1472).
• Collaborate with program IPT to develop SE artifacts and design documents.
• Develop requirement specifications and interface definitions for the Sentinel program.
• Coordinate between SEIT HSI and other design/integration teams.
• Support verification, validation, and requirements traceability activities.
