Job summary

Redpath seeks an HSET Advisor to lead day-to-day safety in surface and underground mining operations across contracted projects. You will support operations, guide implementation of HSET procedures, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations to uphold Safety-First, Last and Always practices.

The role requires supervising safety programs, facilitating training, investigating incidents, and maintaining field presence on site. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and safety within mining operations.
• CMSP or CMSP preferred.
• MSHA Instructor certification preferred.
• Proven incident investigation experience.
• Strong safety program coordination and training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensures site compliance with Redpath standards, MSHA/OSHA standards, and client requirements.
• Educates personnel in the Redpath Safety Program and Fatality Prevention Program.
• Communicates, coaches, and assists workforce to meet safety expectations.
• Upholds the RUSAC HSET strategy for Health, Safety, Environment & Training.
• Coordinates with site leadership, MSHA and clients during investigations.
