Job summary

Lubrizol is seeking a Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security Manager for our Corona, CA facility. This sole contributor role reports to the Sr. Plant Manager and drives the safety culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement at our flagship medical device site.

The ideal candidate holds a STEM degree with 3+ years in HSES, CIH/CSP certifications, and a proven ability to lead programs while working with cross-functional teams. On-site role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or technical major is required.
• 3+ years of health, safety and environmental management experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulatory requirements and manufacturing ergonomics.
• Familiarity with OSHA reporting and permitting requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and improve HSES programs.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and manage HSES programs for the site and coordinate with regional partners.
• Set strategy and lead execution for safety culture improvements.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; promote safety training and performance.
• Analyze safety metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with government safety, health, and environmental regulations.
