Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation is seeking an Operations Manager in Corona, CA to lead an extruded thermoplastic medical device components and finished device assembly operation with 130+ staff. This role ensures production output, quality, and on-time delivery while maintaining cGMP and GDP compliance and safety standards.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity, control costs, and drive continuous improvement across the plant, ensuring alignment with annual operating plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years leadership in manufacturing/operations in regulated industries.
• Experience leading large 24/7 production operations.
• Ability to formulate and drive KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing organization to meet specifications and delivery dates.
• Manage capacity to satisfy weekly schedules and long-term demand.
• Develop headcount and operational expense budgets.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on attainable production schedules.
• Investigate production issues and implement root-cause solutions.
• Ensure cGMP/GDP compliance and safety requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve delivery performance.
• Oversee training, performance management, and staff development.
