Job summary

EHSCareers seeks a lead HSEQ professional to oversee health, safety, environmental and quality programs for Vermont operations, including inactive sites. You will monitor compliance with federal, state and company rules related to HSEQ systems and ensure their effective implementation and maintenance.

The role requires leadership in systems integration, policy development, and cross-functional coordination with mine and plant personnel to optimize safety, product quality and use of resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health and Safety within a Mining or Manufacturing organization required
• Environmental experience and/or training required
• Experience in a quality role required
• Bachelor’s degree related to environmental, safety or quality fields preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee HSEQ programs across Vermont operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies and guidelines.
• Maintain HSEQ systems and drive integration across sites.
• Coordinate HSEQ testing and equipment maintenance as needed.
• Oversee compliance in the lab and support lab personnel.
• Confer with operations to align HSEQ activities for safety and quality.
• Assist in development and implementation of HSEQ policies and procedures.
• Coordinate investigations and corrective action plans for incidents.
