Job summary

Albemarle's Silver Peak Site in Nevada seeks an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to lead the HSE program at the Lithium Mine and processing plant. In this hands‑on role you will collaborate with operations and maintenance to drive safety excellence and environmental compliance while supporting site leadership.

You will supervise a small team, deliver training, oversee audits and investigations, and report performance to the Site Director and the Lithium Global HSE Lead,

Qualifications

5+ years in safety program management in chemical, mining, or related industries.
B.S. in a technical field.
Experience in safety training delivery.
Experience auditing safety compliance (OSHA/MSHA).
Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to lead and influence continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with government safety and environmental regulations and company expectations.
Serve as HSE leader on the Site Leadership Team.
Oversee HSE programs and reporting for the Silver Peak site.
Lead safety training and incident investigations.
Coordinate with site operations and maintenance for continuous improvement.
Manage a small HSE team and safety professionals.
