Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment Technician to join our team in Conroe, Texas. This role helps ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and 5S, supports the HSE manager, and promotes a culture of health and safety across our manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in EHS within manufacturing, strong reporting skills, and certification in First Aid and CPR; training programs and incident investigations are part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an EHS role within the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and occupational health practices.
• Experience in training & development related to EHS topics.
• Proficiency in report writing with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques and 5S is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards side with the HSE representative.
• Provide training and development programs for employees on topics such as first aid, CPR, OSHA regulations, and occupational health practices.
• Help the HSE manager to Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes; prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with management to promote a proactive approach to workplace safety; facilitate communication regarding safety concerns.
