Job summary

Panelmatic is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment Technician to join our team. This role ensures compliance with safety regulations, promotes a culture of health and safety, and maintains 5S within our manufacturing facilities.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in environmental health and safety practices and will support the HSE manager in implementing safety programs and training. Duties include regular safety inspections, delivering training on first aid, CPR and OSHA

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an EHS role within the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EPA regulations.
• Experience in training & development related to EHS topics.
• Proficiency in report writing with ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques and 5S is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Provide training and development programs for employees on first aid, CPR, OSHA regulations, and occupational health practices.
• Assist in investigating incidents and accidents to determine root causes; prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with management to promote proactive safety practices and communicate safety concerns.
