Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment Technician to join our manufacturing team.

This role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a culture of health and safety, and supporting 5S programs under the HSE function. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in environmental health and safety practices, including OSHA and EPA standards, and experience in developing and delivering safety trainings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an EHS role within the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and occupational health practices.
• Experience in training & development related to EHS topics.
• Proficiency in report writing with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques and 5S is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards alongside the HSE representative.
• Provide training and development programs for employees on topics such as first aid, CPR, OSHA regulations, and occupational health practices.
• Assist the HSE manager in investigating incidents and accidents to determine root causes; prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with management to promote a proactive approach to workplace safety and facilitate communication on safety concerns.
