Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to implement health, safety, and environmental programs at a manufacturing site in Iowa. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to ensure compliance and drive continuous HSE performance.

The role emphasizes training, incident investigation, and preventive actions while aligning with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HSE in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local HSE regulations.
• Ability to complete OSHA 30.
• Strong engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to train and coach Manufacturing employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor implementation of health, safety, occupational and environmental programs for a specific location.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external HSE requirements and identify improvements at the local site.
• Deliver an environmental and employee health & safety training plan.
• Develop and manage an environmental and employee health & safety training plan.
• Participate in projects related to continuous improvement in HSE.
• Conduct root cause analyses of HSE incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Support development and maintenance of core ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 programs.
