Job summary

Nordex SE is seeking a Service HSE Site Officer to support daily HSE representation during O&M at wind farm sites. The role involves ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, coordinating with site managers, service technicians, engineers, crane contractors, and subcontractors, and implementing Global HSE requirements.

The position requires 4+ years in HSE, strong communication skills, and travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in HSE, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), CIH, CHMM or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with programmatic audits/inspections including record keeping and action-item resolution.
• Experience establishing, managing, and leading cross-functional teams.
• Minimum 4 years in an HSE department with background in electrical safety and O&M HSE operations; wind farm experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain global alignment for HSE Management Systems and daily HSE activities.
• Support cross-functional teams in planning, facilitation, and completion of HSE projects.
• Review analytical data of HSE-related incidents with leadership.
• Interface with clients and customers as needed to reflect positively on the company.
• Support HSE Director with compliance monitoring during O&M operations.
• Interpret and implement Global HSE requirements at site level.
• Collaborate with HSE teams to implement site-level policies and procedures.
• Create records and reports with recommendations for management.
