Job summary

The Freudenberg Group, including CAPOL, is seeking an HSE Specialist to ensure strict compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA and environmental regulations across our manufacturing operations.

You will support and improve HSE programs, lead safety trainings, coordinate audits, and investigate incidents to implement preventive solutions. Strong communication and Excel proficiency are essential, with bilingual English/Spanish being a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related technical field preferred.
• 3+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing, food, chemical, or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and environmental regulations.
• Experience with audits, incident investigations, safety training, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, and leadership to strengthen workplace safety.
