Job summary

Freudenberg Performance Materials LP (USA) is seeking an Operator to support basic production activities, manage material staging, and assist in line operations at our Durham facility. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

The successful candidate will perform routine inspections, handle materials, and document production data while adhering to SOPs and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiar with process control systems, quality checks, and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic production support activities including roll wrapping, material staging, and routine line assistance.
• Maintain awareness of health, safety, and environmental requirements and individual responsibilities.
• Conduct rotational inspection duties and identify, classify, and record visible product defects in accordance with established quality procedures.
• Support cleaning activities including manual cleaning tasks and general housekeeping to maintain equipment and work area standards.
• Weigh, label, and document finished materials and enter required production data into systems accurately and timely.
• Handle materials and assist in ensuring proper material flow to and from the production line.
• Follow all established safety procedures including proper PPE (personal protective equipment) use and participation in safety observation programs.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and quality expectations.
• Demonstrate a consistent focus on product quality and teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of basic production operations.
• Position starts at $22 hour
