Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment Associate to lead safety initiatives for high-voltage, infrastructure-heavy facilities. You will work with data center and operations teams to enforce SOPs and emergency plans, protecting frontline technicians and ensuring environmental compliance.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of relevant experience, proficiency in MS Office, and strong analytical and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, systems and concepts within own job function.
• Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual/complex content clearly.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support in monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
• Assist with development and implementation of complex strategic solutions to improve performance results.
• Verify permits, licenses, applications and records for compliance purposes.
• Present inspection records, complaints, and suspected violations with recommended solutions.
• Inform management, clients and employees of advanced control regulations and inspection findings.
• Assist management in cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems.
• Impact own team and related teams; contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
• Suggest improvements to existing processes to improve team efficiency.
