Job summary

CBRE seeks a Health, Safety, and Environment Associate to drive safety in complex facilities. You will develop guidance for high-voltage and infrastructure-heavy sites and work with data center and operations teams to enforce SOPs and emergency plans.

Your work helps prevent incidents, ensures environmental compliance, and protects frontline technicians maintaining critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–4 years of related experience.
• Understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within the function.
• Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual/complex content clearly.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support in monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
• Assist with development and implementation of complex strategic solutions to improve performance results.
• Verify permits, licenses, applications, and records are stored correctly for compliance purposes.
• Present inspection records, complaints, and suspected violations to management with recommended solutions.
• Inform management, clients, and employees of advanced control regulations and inspection findings.
• Assist management in implementation of cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent.
• Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.
• Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve efficiency.
