Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HSE Manager (Data Centers) to develop and manage health, safety, and environmental programs across our critical facilities in the United States. You will lead complex safety initiatives for 24/7 operations, with emphasis on uptime and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in data centers or similar settings, CSP/CHMM/OSHA 30-Hr preferred. You will collaborate with Facilities Engineering and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years HSE experience in data centers or mission-critical environments.
• Certifications such as CSP, CHMM, OSHA 30-Hr preferred.
• Proven ability to guide complex safety information and standards.
• Experience coordinating with contractors and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive Safety Culture: promote proactive safety across 24/7 data center environments.
• Refine Critical Procedures: implement RAMS, emergency plans, and playbooks.
• Standardize Initiatives: align HSE programs with regs and operations.
• Manage Critical Risks: track hazards like arc flash, LOTO, heights, chemicals.
• Develop Mitigation Strategies: reduce incidents and prevent outages.
• Investigate & Prevent: analyze injuries/near-misses and implement CAPA.
• Oversee Account Compliance: monitor OSHA, EPA, local codes.
• Partner with Operations: work with Facilities Engineering to ensure uptime.
• Audit & Communicate: conduct site audits and report findings.
• Model Leadership: lead by example per CBRE RISE values.
• Influence Stakeholders: align site teams and vendors on safety protocols.
• Solve Complex Issues: troubleshoot HSE challenges in mechanical/electrical systems.
