Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment Associate to lead safety initiatives in high-voltage and infrastructure-heavy facilities. You will develop operational guidance, enforce SOPs and emergency response plans, and collaborate with data center and building operations teams to prevent incidents and ensure environmental compliance.

The role supports frontline technicians and aims to protect critical infrastructure, driving continuous improvement in safety performance and regulatory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function.
• Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content clearly.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support in monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
• Assist with development and implementation of complex strategic solutions to improve performance.
• Verify permits, licenses, applications, and records are stored correctly for compliance.
• Present inspection records, complaints, and suspected violations to management with recommended solutions.
• Inform management, clients, and employees of advanced control regulations and inspection findings.
• Assist management in cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems with little precedent; may suggest new techniques.
• Impact own team and related teams; support cross-functional collaboration.
• Suggest improvements to existing processes to improve team efficiency.
