We are currently seeking a dedicated HSE Specialist to support our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) efforts across various construction sites. This is a key support role that will assist with ensuring safety compliance, hazard identification, and continuous safety improvements within the company.

What You'll Do:

As an HSE Specialist, you will:

  • Support Safety Program Implementation:
    Assist in the development and maintenance of company-wide safety programs and policies, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other safety regulations.

  • Assist with Safety Training:
    Support the design and delivery of safety training programs, toolbox talks, and other educational initiatives. Help facilitate safety communication across the team.

  • Conduct Site Inspections and Audits:
    Assist in conducting routine site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards. Help prepare reports with recommendations for safety improvements.

  • Assist with Incident Investigations:
    Support investigations into safety incidents and near-misses. Help collect data, analyze root causes, and assist in implementing corrective actions.

  • Maintain Safety Documentation:
    Help with maintaining safety records, tracking incidents, and ensuring that documentation meets compliance requirements.

  • Promote Safety Awareness:
    Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to promote a safety-conscious work environment. Provide support in safety planning and execution.

  • Stay Current on Safety Regulations:
    Help monitor and research the latest safety regulations and industry best practices. Assist in recommending improvements to enhance overall safety across the organization.

What You Bring:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, Safety, or a related field .

  • Experience:
    1-3 years of experience in a safety or HSE role, preferably within the construction industry. A solid understanding of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations is but not required.

  • Certifications:
    OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (required). CPR/First Aid certification; additional safety certifications are a plus (e.g., MAWP, PIT, ASP).

  • Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and practices, especially in construction.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Highly organized with good attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and support a safety-first culture.

Working Conditions:
