Job summary

Sysco Minnesota, Inc. is seeking a Safety Director to lead the implementation of a prevention-focused health, safety and environmental (HSE) and security program.

You will develop and execute OpCo-specific strategy in line with Sysco's HSE goals, including crisis preparedness. This role requires 5-7 years of hands-on safety experience in warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing, CSP certification, strong analytical and leadership skills, and ability to interface with regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of hands-on environmental and safety experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or transportation.
• Certification in safety (CSP) or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop HSE strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Implement plans to reduce injuries and incidents.
• Communicate HSE objectives to Senior Leadership.
• Lead audits and regulatory compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Provide training on HSE knowledge and competencies.
• Engage with regulators and manage audits.
