Job summary

Atlas Roof & Wall Insulation is seeking an Environmental, Health, Safety, Training & Plant Administration Manager for its LaGrange, GA polyiso foam facility. The role focuses on building a zero-incident safety culture, OSHA compliance, training, and regulatory reporting.

The candidate will develop HS&E programs, supervise training, manage hazardous materials, and coordinate with the site clinic on injuries and compliance. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; or five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in environmental, health and safety, manufacturing, training, plant administration, or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, environmental regulations, hazardous materials, safety programs, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with PSM, HAZWOPER, DOT, SDS management, incident investigation, and contractor safety is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental, health and safety programs, employee training, regulatory compliance, and plant administrative functions.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance and reporting.
• Manage hazardous materials, waste, chemical storage, and environmental permits and reporting.
• Develop and deliver safety training; maintain a training matrix and certifications.
• Coordinate with the site clinic regarding injuries, workers’ compensation, drug testing, and pre-employment physicals.
• Plan and coordinate plant safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
