Job summary

Atlas Roofing Corporation seeks a seasoned Plant Manager to lead the LaGrange, GA polyiso foam manufacturing facility. You will drive safety, quality, production, delivery, and financial performance while building a high-performing team.

You will implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and formal problem-solving to optimize resources, manage capital expenditures, and ensure on-time delivery to customers with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must have at least ten years of manufacturing experience in a technologically advanced environment.
• Minimum of two years of leadership experience.
• Proven ability to interpret, monitor, and report financial and budgetary performance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, and formal problem solving.
• Hands-on leader able to work with minimal staff support.

Responsibilities

• Achieve facility goals in safety, quality, production, delivery, and budget compliance.
• Monitor plant output and optimize resource utilization with corrective actions as needed.
• Foster a positive, cooperative relationship across all levels of staff.
• Develop and mentor staff with clear objectives and regular feedback.
• Maintain facilities and equipment to support efficiency and ROI.
• Determine capital expenditures and authorize plant modifications.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods.
• Direct operations in compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager to meet market needs and objectives.
• Ensure assets are safeguarded and consistently attended.
