Job summary

Atlas Roofing Corporation’s LaGrange, GA facility is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental, Training & Plant Administration Manager. This role leads plant safety programs, OSHA compliance, and employee training while supporting administrative functions essential to daily manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will drive a strong safety culture, oversee environmental and hazardous materials compliance, manage PPE and SDS, and coordinate incident investigations and regulatory

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, environmental regulations, hazardous materials, safety programs, and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, deliver, and document safety and job-specific training for employees, new hires, temporary workers, and contractors.
• Deliver monthly safety training and maintain required training documentation.
• Coordinate required first aid, CPR, HAZWOPER, bloodborne pathogen, DOT, and other regulatory training.
• Manage PPE, first aid supplies, office supplies, lunchroom supplies, and other facility-related materials.
• Provide professional administrative support to the plant and employees.
