Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Health and Safety - Programs Assistant to support design, development, and implementation of environmental, health and safety databases, policies and programs. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, self-driven and effective in cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on maintaining HSE databases, training field safety personnel, and managing third-party systems like ISNetworld, Avetta, and Veriforce, while updating policies based on regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with HSE compliance and management systems.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office products.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and policy acknowledgment.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance of HSE databases and analyze data trends.
• Assist training of field safety personnel on HSE databases.
• Manage third-party compliance systems and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Maintain HSE training program documentation.
• Act as contact for updates to HSE policies and procedures.
• Support updates to policies for federal, state and local regulations.
