Job summary

ASRC Industrial Services (AIS) currently seeks a Health Safety Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead and direct the company’s HSE program from Houston, TX. You will supervise two coordinators and partner with AIS leadership to align HSE with business objectives.

You will develop policies, manage investigations, monitor metrics, coordinate training, and ensure OSHA/EPA compliance across locations, while driving continuous improvement and contractor safety programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Safety & Health or related field.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable regulations at federal, state, and local level.
Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all levels.
Proficiency with HSE technology and information management systems (LMS, databases, audit/inspection tools).

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the company's HSE program with strategic direction and oversight.
Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and programs.
Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ) across locations.
Identify hazards and risks; conduct inspections, JHAs/JSAs, audits; implement controls.
Lead incident and near-miss investigations with root-cause analysis.
Establish and report HSE metrics and trends.
Coordinate HSE training, orientation, toolbox talks, and supervisor development.
Oversee environmental and emergency preparedness programs.
Collaborate with operations/engineering to drive continuous HSE improvement.
Manage contractor HSE requirements, documentation, audits, and prequalification.
