Responsibilities:

1. Implement a management system and plan for OHS according to the standard OHSAS in the project.
2. Control and update periodically Health and Safety rates, objectives, and KPI OHS Plan of the project.
3. Redact and update HSE Induction and Campaign Trainings contents.
4. Review Pretask Talk records and Work Permits System.
5. Review and redact when required Safety Control procedures in management of Health and Safety.
6. Audit control of subcontractors and implementation of HSE Plans and HSE Procedures.
7. Investigation of accidents, flash reports, incidents, and HIPOs (High Potential Cases).
8. Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis methodology.
9. Control the number of active records (OHS inspections) on site by site personnel and external personnel.
10. Redact procedure for Machinery review according to color coding system.
11. Implement HSE Log Book update and record findings at project level.
12. Review Daily HSE site inspections and NCs closing.
13. Knowledge of Belgium Texas local Regulations.
14. Redact and update emergency procedures.
15. Participate in Internal and External Audits.
16. Support HSE Meetings internal and with subcontractors.
17. Maintain Lesson Learned record.
18. Prepare monthly reports.
19. Obtain environmental certificate.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in an engineering or technical discipline.
2. 4-5 years of experience in the Health, Safety, Environmental and Regulatory work environment, preferably in construction of photovoltaic solar plants.
3. OSHA 500 Certification.
4. Advanced computer skills to produce reports: Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
5. English (knowledge of Spanish is valuable).
6. Team player.

This position is headquartered in Houston, but will require supervision of the different job sites the company has.
