Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of Health, Safety, and Environmental experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a strong safety culture across the manufacturing facility, partnering with site leadership and employees to drive engagement and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, regulatory, and company HSE requirements at the site level.
• Manage site HSE systems: corrective actions, incident investigations, workers' compensation, audits, inspections, documentation, and reporting.
• Oversee safety and environmental programs including contractor safety, energy control (LOTO), hearing conservation, chemical management, permitting, and regulatory submissions.
• Lead internal and external audits and inspections, develop corrective action plans, and drive program effectiveness.
• Develop and deliver site-wide HSE training including onboarding and recurring compliance training.
• Serve as the primary HSE resource for the facility, supporting safety committees and leadership coaching.
• Maintain environmental records, permits, certifications, and reporting requirements (air, wastewater, stormwater, Tier II, etc.).
• Partner with plant/regional leadership to execute annual HSE objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
