Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking an HSE Manager for our Water Division in Cartersville, GA. You will lead site-specific EHS plans, coordinate subcontractor safety, and drive compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

You will conduct audits, investigations and environmental monitoring, while supporting a Drug-Free Workplace program and safety trainings for crews. A strong safety background and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• OSHA 500 certification preferred.
• CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction EHS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific EHS plans in line with corporate and regional programs.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and on-site safety coordination.
• Conduct on-site EHS audits and inspections for compliance with laws and policies.
• Perform accident investigations and incident reporting for PM review.
• Escort injured employees to medical evaluation and ensure EHS protocols are followed.
• Advise on Industrial Hygiene protocols and environmental monitoring.
• ManageDrug-Free Workplace policy including testing regimes.
• Provide EHS training and orientation for new hires.
• Administer SPAT process and deliver weekly EHS updates to leadership.
