Allan Myers is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to lead our site safety program on heavy civil construction projects. You will set the tone for an incident- and injury-free environment and ensure compliance with corporate, federal, and state HSE policies.

Extensive travel to field sites is required. Responsibilities include site safety observations, investigations, subcontractor safety oversight, and training materials for OSHA/MSHA/DOT documentation.

Formación

• HSE/Safety related Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years of experience in a HSE/Safety role; OR no degree with 7+ years of experience in a Heavy Civil construction supervisor/manager role.
• Experience with HSE responsibilities on multiple projects or $25mil+ in revenue
• Valid driver’s license required.
• HSE/Safety certification a plus.
• Must be able to travel overnight or long distances on occasion.
• Must be knowledgeable of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts site observations for safety compliance and incident investigations.
• Assists Operations Team with pre-planning safety via risk assessment and job hazard analysis.
• Readies training documentation and ensures OSHA/MSHA/DOT compliance materials are in place.
• Applies risk management techniques to control loss exposure.
• Oversees subcontractor safety starts and compliance.
• Conducts OSHA and MSHA inspections and new hire orientation.
• Provides safety expertise to the project team.
• Analyzes safety culture and suggests process improvements.
• Operates company vehicle (Ford F-150).
