Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western in Goodyear, AZ is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental programs on our Data Center projects. You will help implement site-specific EHS plans and ensure adherence to all safety policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating audits, conducting investigations, training personnel, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, while fostering a culture of safety across the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) Certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction EHS field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an effective site-specific EHS plan in collaboration with Project Manager and leadership.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and audits to minimize hazards and losses.
• Conduct on-site EHS audits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform accident investigations and incident reporting for PM review.
• Provide EHS training and coordinate new hire EHS orientation.
